Visual and Performing Arts
Excel students experience a journey of creative discovery. Our art education program is designed to inspire confidence, freedom of expression, and creativity as it nurtures students' bodies, minds, and spirit. Specials classes and after-school activities in visual and performing arts provide opportunities for their personal growth and cultivate an appreciation for the arts.
Students sing and play instruments in concerts, perform in class plays and express themselves creatively in special annual celebrations and in art shows. Students in PreK enjoy dance classes. Kindergarten-12th grade students take music, visual art, dance classes and musical theater. Middle School through high school students also have the opportunity to participate in ensemble, theater production, performing and visual arts.
